IRadio Stations

Hi. I’ve a MuSo 1st Gen plus Uniti Atom and I’m having real issues with iRadio on the former (haven’t tried the Atom yet) since the latest updates. I can see all of the stations (after what seemed like an age initially but now ok as per the screenshot)

but barely any work. I’ve got the BBC ones working but others, including main stations such as Capital, never load; does anyone else experience this?

Have you restarted the muso since applying the firmware update?

I did unplug it for another reason but haven’t done a hard reset, but will try that. I’m sceptical as some stations works so it’s not as if there is no functionality from the app, it’s just about 50% of the stations don’t stream. Will reset now…….

You need to delete them all and start again. They don’t work as firmware has been updated. So search for your favourite stations and then save them.

My problem with the radio function is that the app doesn’t display what’s playing in the strip on the bottom of the screen.

There’s something wrong with the app as I’ve outlined in my “Qobuz” post though, how’s your “favourites” lists? All my Qobuz selections have completely disappeared.

I don’t know if Spotify or Tidal are also affected.

This is the third comparatively recent problem with the app and quite honestly I’m really hacked off with it.

I had cleared the favourites prior to just carrying out a hard reset, now have the stock favourites after the reset. So are you saying I should delete these? I’m not sure that will make a difference, the station should play without being saved shouldn’t it? It seems very hit-and-miss as to what plays or not. For instance, a random selection of ‘Bounce Nation Radio’ works -

But Capital Dance, a vastly more popular station, doesn’t :man_shrugging:

My understanding is if the station cant be found anymore then you need to search again for it and then save it. Alot of stations need reloding up. For example Kool London and has change to Kool FM.

If a station saved as a preset or favourite has a warning triangle next to it on the home page, it’s an old vTuner one that needs to be deleted. Stations saved after the update will be from the new Naim service and should be fine.

Hi,

What product are you having this problem on? The streams have had no down time and to prove that they have ability to play here is Capital Dance playing on a Naim CI102 from the same system:
