Is it normal for a VAM 1250 mech?

With a bit of care, you can remove the loose plating. Then yours will look as bad as mine - but still work… Yay… :crazy_face:

As Ian has posted still useable, just keep cleaning the loose flakes from time to time.

Now get out the BluTac or sticky tape - and gently remove the loose plating… :see_no_evil:
