Since the app was updated it only reads approx 50% of the albums on the HDD and I can’t see the other half I.e. it sees all albums down to letter J but nothing after.
I could see them and play them before the update but not since.
I’ve checked them all on a laptop and have no issues.
Any ideas from anyone (nothing too technical please).
First, are you using the USB input to view the music files (which uses a folder view) or are you using the Server input > Local Music, which displays the same music by tags, which is usually preferable. Chances are that only one or the other of these views isn’t working.
Did you try a full factory reset after you updated the Atom firmware?
In the app, try App Settings > Reset App and System Settings > Rebuild Music Database.
I still have to get to the bottom of why multi room keeps having dropouts, but where in the new app is the multi room option? The Naim app is currently showing both my NSC222 and a Qb2 but I can’t see any multi room option
It should be in the bottom R corner. Do you need to scroll down a bit to see it - as more devices with different screen sizes appear there do seem to be more and more issues like this.
I have exactly the same problem with my MuSo2 since i “upgraded” to the Radio version of the Naim app. I can get down to S on the list of artists on my SSD hard drive, but no further. I’ve done lots of resets, on/off etc., checked the SSD on my desktop, all to no avail. I have sent a report into Naim but no response yet. Frustrating. I have lots of artists starting with “The..” who aren’t playable as they are invisible on the app.
Thanks for the suggestion. Have rebooted the MuSo2 a few times and have waited for the drive to be read- played a couple of albums from the artists in the A to S range which should have given the thing time to get it act together. Just have to see what Naim come up with.
