Issue with Airplay and Bluetooth on Naim MuSo 2

Hi!

I am a bit frustrated with my Muso 2.

The issues are as follows:
— Bluetooth sound working for my iPhone
— AirPlay is not working for both iPhone and Macbook Pro
— girlfriend’s iPhone is not working, but Macbook Pro is working as AirPlay

Can someone please help with the Gordian knot here?

I am afraid that if I update and reset or touch anything, I will ruin everything and go through spiral of hard reset.

Add. Owning Naim sometimes feels like running a dodgy Ferrari.

OS is Mac OS Ventura 13.4 (22F66)
iPhone 12 Pro, ios 17.6.1

Not using any WiFi!

I wold start with
… unplug your muso for 5 mins, plug back in then recheck

if that doesn’t change anything, then

  1. unplug your muso
  2. unplug your router
  3. wait 5 mins
  4. plug in your router
  5. wait 10 mins
  6. Plug in your Muso, then recheck

then come back here with results, where we can dig deeper

I am not using wifi and/or routers, as I wrote in my last comment. If it works, works through bluetooth and airplay without it.

We changed houses and routers, and it continued working, and I was afraid of ruining what works.

You are using WiFi for your iPhone at least, both for Airplay and running the Naim app, so even if your Macs are using wired Ethernet I wouldn’t rule it out as being part of the problem.

What exactly to you mean by “not using wifi and/or routers”? Without a router you have no internet connection and no LAN, so you must have something.

Update.

I risked it, did a new device setup, ignored new firmware as it failed gloriously last time, and it successfully added as Bluetooth and Airplay device.
