Rear of speakers are 45cm from wall. I don’t think you like the presentation of the Focals anyhow. I am happy with them and they are rather good.
Are there better speakers out there? Of course! But for the time being these will do the job very well.
They actually work well with the decor, being concrete finish, matching the wallpaper. I think DBLs would be even more in your face. But they would fit absolutely fine like you say. I have had the Sopra 2s less than 18 months and they are still mint.
I have heard and Kudo 808s on Dunc’s system and they have great control of bass. But his amp is rather special. So I haven’t heard them on my system.
There are so many brands out there to consider if I was to change from what I have. I don’t think Scalas are the ones for my room. If I had a room 8m x 7m or larger then yes.
I have also considered changing the room around so speakers are on shorter wall. Would mean moving stack onto longer wall. It could provide larger seating area with U shape sofa arrangement.

I have a single stack and with a lot of changes recently also struggled with Burndy cable dressing. Apart from the speaker cable, which is new and needs better placement, I am now happy (see below); but I only managed it after re-reading this thread:
If you are patient and really spend time de-stressing the Burndy’s, after working out which way they need to line up, it really works
Morning mate, are those the Scalla’s that TmTom have? I was also going to buy those but the logistics of getting them here was just too much work, I made them an offer but they weren’t very keen so I left it for now. they are on the big side of things too!
The more I look at them, the more I realise how big they are though. As Dan says, you need a really big room for them to not only sound good but also look right in my opinion.
