Decades ago I liked some of Joni Mitchell’s music, though it was not the sort of music I wanted to buy. Today I saw the following report on the BBC News website - it made me wish I had been there!

I thought she’d become a recluse since Morgellons disease?
According to the Mayo Clinic, Morgellons disease “is a condition characterized by a belief that parasites or fibers are emerging from the skin. People with this condition often report feeling as if something is crawling on or stinging their skin.”
Would have loved to have been at that show😊

There’s also a near-full page review in the Guardian today. Sounds great. She’s had many health problems in recent years but apparently can still sing well and would like to do more live shows of this type. I’m pretty sure she won’t leave the US though. What a pity.

Literally in my backyard and I didn’t know about it.
I’ve just picked up her double LP live recording, ‘Shadows and Light’. It’s from 1980, with Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny. She’s in fantastic voice on it.
The closest I’ll get to seeing her live.

I have much of her vinyl and love her live sets especially. I follow her on Instagram. She posts a video often. Check it out. Great to see her. Coolest chick on the planet for over 50 years, and still kicking. Hard to imagine but there she is. Amazing.
