I see the original Fairport Convention vocalist has passed away aged 71.

Sad news, I saw her live at Cropredy in 2017, lovely to hear her voice live. RIP Judy.

Really sad news. 71 is no age at all. Beautiful voice. I corresponded with her via email and had been looking forward to seeing her in concert this year. Her version of I Talk to the Wind is superb.

Very sad indeed. I have two recent CDs Anthology Part 1 and Summer Dancing ( with Andy Lewis).
Judy’s 1970 band Trader Horne - the only album Morning Way (at a snip on Qobuz) is well worth a spin.
