I was using some cheap Van Damme black speaker cable but just purchased some brand new NACA5 cable, 3.5m, that arrived earlier today
Can’t quite believe the difference NACA5 has made to the sound

It can take a while with NACA5 but there’s definitely a point after some months of use where it makes remarkable gains spacially with depth in particular coming good. Quite why it might be so, I really don’t know, but I had the same thing happen with two sets of NACA5 (one 7m per channel, the other 10m per channel).

But be prepared to cut off the ends and re-do the soldering onto some nice new SA8 plugs. That way you can be sure…

I had the dealer terminate with Naim plugs & Chord Ohmic banana plugs. They’ve done a great job of soldering, very neat

Actually I didn’t check the speaker ends, just the Naim plugs and they were perfect so I’m trusting that they did the correct thing on the Ohmic‘s

I’m just leaving the hifi playing as much as possible to run in the NACA5 a bit
Sounding excellent already. I particularly notice the difference in vocals as I’m able to follow the words much easier than with my previous cable, has anyone else noticed this?
Of course it could be my imagination

NACA5 is a rather good choice of cable. Enjoy it. As Richard says it can take a bit of run-in but its an upward progression.

Can’t go wrong with NAC A5, even if you go on an exotica cable journey you find they’ll just get the job done in any Naim system.
Glad to hear the dealer has taken care of termination nicely also.

I have VDH cables in both my Naim systems and home tried NACA5 and Lumina. Recomended by the Naim dealer. Perfect sinergy with Naim / Dynaudio setups.

No you’re not. NACA5 is a fantastic performance cable and great value. Most naim products were voiced using it.

That is no imagination! That is exactly what the naim cables do. Thought the same - easy to follow on lyrics. Very good with naca5 even better with SL. Enjoy the cable - I had it in main system for 35 years. Have 3 or 4 sets of naca 5
