Yes he had certainly been putting the hammer down and trying to distance Roglic, so it’s not surprising he reacted. It’s Roglic’s ability to keep up day after day and then attack that sets him apart and makes him very difficult to beat. Bernal’s time trialling has definitely improved over the last couple of years.
