Has anyone tried a linear psu on a mesh endpoint?
The smps that comes with its 9V/5V into 3 Amp. Probably dynamically changes Voltage based on load..
Want to bridge from HiFi to main system wirelessly / but can’t put the mesh endpoint on a different breaker .
A friend fried his eero by outrun it on an Ifi unit- actually he fried two - so don’t try eero. The power consumption is too high for the eero I suppose.
Not tried any other PS’s, but isnt the Eero a USB C connection, in which case nothing should cause the device to fry?
Not sure what you mean by this.
I tried the adapter that came with my iFi Power Elite or iFi I can’t recall which one exactly. It was the previous generation of Eero’s but I won’t be trying this again anytime soon.
