Barnes would like to see Angus Bell, Jake Gordon and Tate McDermott all starting.

Very unconvincing win today (Tuesday) against spirited opposition, in a game full of mistakes. Sadly, the days of running rugby left the building many years ago. Many parts of this match were the usual kick & chase-fest.

This match isn’t done yet. Australia have been excellent but subs stronger for the Lions? Scrum for Australia is creaking too.

Theatrics?
I thought Australia turned up properly today and should give their supporters hope for the future. The game could have gone either way… but what a game! Tremendous stuff particularly as I watched it in a pub in north London with a fair Aussie contingent.
Credit to both teams. Unfortunately a dead rubber next week, so that was probably the game of the series.
Sydney’s had a lot of rain over the past 48 hours and it’s still raining. Hopefully it won’t distract from what should be a good game. Aussies will be out for revenge and the Lions will looking to stay undefeated.
I see Valetini is out injured Pete. He was immense in the last game and I guess will be sorely missed? Skelton is there though, and Nic White’s final match for the wallabies so lots of motivation. I might wear a comedy moustache in celebration.
It’d be good to see White go out on a win, but it’s going to be tough. The Wallabies performance has gathered a bit of momentum, Rugby is struggling here it really needs some good press more importantly good results. We haven’t won the Bledisloe Cup in 25 years and a lot of private schools that used to are now playing league. People loss interest.

We haven’t been down to the house for a while. But talking to the builder lots of activity installing internal walls and electrics. Will post some new photos when I have some 
Cagey stuff so far. Given the weather a lot of kicking

Lions off the pace today. Poor passing skills, whilst Australia have brought their A game. Itoje going off with HIA has not helped.

Australia still look up for it. Not sure the lions can match their skills or intensity. Weird as there has been a lot of talk over here about how few lions teams manage to win all 3 tests..
We have the championship starting in a few weeks against NZ SA and Argentina.
Well deserved Australia. They really took that game by the scruff of the neck. Good for the future of Aussie rugby union.
