I was talking with a friend recently and he suggested that there are few live albums which are as good as their studio counterparts. On reflection, I am inclined to agree. I am referring to the overall enjoyment of the music rather than the sound quality.
Therefore, I would suggest any Rory Gallagher live album and Eric Clapton’s “Just One Night” as being live albums which are as good as studio from an enjoyment point of view. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
