Locking RCA Connectors on an XS3 for phono input

Hi - a quick (hopefully final) question before delivery of my XS3 and turntable etc at the end oft he month.

Locking RCA Connectors - are they an ok fit for the XS3 (phono stage input), I only ask as I saw one comment somewhere from a user of these that the connectors were too big to fit, but they didn’t say too big to fit what!

I’ll paste the cables below, Mogami 2497. Thanks!

They do look quite chunky.

Hi - @robert_h , they’re on Amazon, so I always have a safe return policy to fall back on, but I think they should be ok. I can’t see any MOGAMI 2497 without locking RCAs in stock anywhere at the moment, I’m in the UK.

Is there any particular reason you are choosing those cables? I don’t like locking rcas but then I used to own Cyrus amps.

You’re fine on the turntable side, this is the technics:

…and this is the phono-in of the XS3 of course.

I think It will fit ok, but getting my fingers round the barrel to lock them might be a squeeze. If it doesen’t fit I have a 30 day return window I guess.
No reason for these particular cables bar recommendation. I haven’t used locking RCAs before, but couldn’t find a pair with stardard RCA with the Mogami 2497 cable, here in the UK. I would be very unlikely to be moving the hardware after connecting.

Plenty of mogami plus non locking rca plugs if you know where to look;

I found some more, but a different Mogami cable number, but not locking. Then someone (not on here) says… the input capacitance of the XS3 is too high for the cartridge I’m going to use (Ortofon Concorde Music -Bronze & Black) . Where does it end?
