Anyone else at Love Supreme this weekend? I had a great time. Highlights for me were Lady Blackbird whole set was great but her encore of Life on Mars! Wow! Ezra Collective, Rob Luft trio, Charles Lloyd and the Marvels, Mathew Halsall, Harold Lopez-Nussa, Gary Bartz and Maisha and a storming set from Emma-Jean Thackray.

My son went some years ago and had a great time. He said it was a very nice family friendly event and good music.

Unfortunately I didn’t. Too absorbed by the music i suppose.
Saw Lady Blackbird on her recent tour. Expected her to suffer a little from a lack of material up to the standard of the album but that absolutely wasn’t the case. A very impressive live performer. Great album too.
