I would like to thank the community for all your guidance since I’ve been in the fold and you have given me the faith to take the plunge into Hi Fi
It’s been a challenging year for many of us and music has been a source of calm and sanity and worth the money I have invested.
I now am very fortunate to have a top LP12 and just upgrading from my supernait to a pre loved 552 and have limited funds over for a power amp
What options do I think about on the power amp to have a good system without having to have a second job -Thanks Ronan

Depending on your speakers I would suggest a NAP 250DR. Should be secondhand examples available.

Do you still have the supernait. It can be used as a power amp only until you have funds for something else. The 250DR can be had for a good price at the moment on the pre owned sites.

I would save up a little bit and get a nap300dr if you can, they are very cheap these days but as others have said a 250 will get you going

The second hand options are great value. About £1K gets an olive 250, serviced inside the last decade. It’s a very good amp.
Spend a bit more and get a 250 DR and you’ll hear the difference - quieter in background means more detail, better bass quantity and control, much clearer at lower volume.
I use a 300DR with 552DR and it’s a worthwhile step up from a 250DR.
Opinions differ about whether the new 250 is better or worse than a 300DR - most reckon that there’s not much in it.
And of course the biggest suitable bargain is a 500DR - compared to new, you can ‘save’ enough to buy a car.

Maybe you could consider active speakers - not sure what speakers you have today but active ATC40’s on the used market for c5k would negate the need for a power amp. Mine work very well with a 552 /LP12

What’s your budget? Is the 552 a DR version?
I would go with a Naim power amp.
If you have a 552DR then 250DR will work very well. Other alternatives would be 300DR or 500DR.
There are non DR 500s out there too.
Without a budget difficult to say what you can get.
