My mat and belt are marked. 
Sorry for the delay, just got home and found the old ones I kept “just in case”.
So four belts, the newest is exactly 560mm which appears from online search to be on spec, the old ones are 558, 563 and 565. On that basis your 555 seems a bit tight.
Of course there might be a bit of error in measurement because I was not going to cut the belts to lay them flat!

I’ll have to find the link, but a site had a Linn belt measuring 553mm so I thought 555mm might just be correct for new.
