I think it would be safe to say that everyone has a mains supply issue to a greater or lesser degree. How ones hi-fi reacts electrically to this or the quality of our hearing and gear depends on many factors. I doubt that mains quality is going to improve anytime soon, especially in our gadget filled world.
Personally, I’d rather follow the old maxim of rubbish in, rubbish out.
I’m sure I’ll get dissenters but don’t listen them, they’re talking rubbish.
If anyone says I am, I agree as well.
