Mana Acoustics

Actually, that is probably one of the most offensive posts I have ever read in this thread. As an ex site administrator your should be thoroughly ashamed of that comment.

I’ve read back over the posts leading to this and must confess this lover’s tiff has gone completely over my head I have no idea what it is about or why someone might be slighted or by what comment.

I generally understand half of what Adam writes. But it’s my limited English.

I’m thinking/hoping some humour may be getting lost in translation here… :face_with_raised_eyebrow::wink::joy: …it made me laugh anyway, so I’m hoping so!

Je n’ai pas été offensé. (Which I hope means I wasn’t offended)

And, strictly between relevant parties, I can’t see how you could/would.

Ah - I’ve just realised (based on John Watson’s Instagram post of this picture!) who this is!

Looking forward to maybe a listen next summer! :sweden: :sun_with_face:

I was following a interesting forum on a individual designing a quite technical equipment stand
there yesterday - gone today anyone know why?

May have gone commercially sensitive….

I had a last post Aust time said quite a few Commercial racks were very poor and you had to try at home. Also said expensive Quadraspire rack was a excellent design. Don’t now what
happened after that.
If the Forum is on way to a conclusion is it not policy to delete a post or two not the whole effort that has been put in?

OP asked for it to be removed.

The thread was turning into something rather unpleasant.

Some forum members, hiding behind their keyboards, started being explicitly condescending, then annoyingly insulting.

I asked Richard to delete the thread.

Sorry to talk “about me” I really like/enjoy phased mana acoustics not because of the way it looks but simply because I think it enhances the Naim Olive sound, I find that FACT pleasing! after all the thread is about Mana acoustics is it not? Like I said in the beginning wait for the haters to arrive, they will show up and they did.
I live on the other side of the world and it has cost me a lot of hard earned money to get it. I’m not a rich man and Ive worked flippen hard for everything I own, nothings been given which I’m sure most can relate to.
I’ve tried Naim Fraim and it doesn’t do it for me.

I would be curious to compare a tower of mana shelves vs the Minus K platform under a turntable.
Definitely the platform I would buy if deep pockets.

That’s a shame, I enjoyed reading about your project.

Would it be possible to start a new thread in due time, even if only to share the final design, construction and result? A bit like the CNO-4 speaker thread.

It could indeed have been an excellent opportunity to share some ideas, information and knowledge.

Unfortunately, this forum is sometimes misused.

As for starting a new thread, not sure it is wise. I’m not the kind that turns the other cheek

I think you underrated the interest in your project, then allowed a few people to derail you who
would have lost out anyway.
Compared to the Burn in debate it was - well minor!

I remember when Mana Acoustics were really popular especially with Naim systems, and music followers would build stack after stack of Mana Acoustics equipment. Reviews raved about the improvement of sound but no one could explain the reason why Mana Acoustics produced such a good sound, except they were built of steel and glass (is that right?). As far as I can remember the founder of Mana Acoustics came across this new component I think by accident as he was working as a motorbike courier. For some reason Mana Acoustics did not use distributors so one had to buy their gear directly from them. I am in a way sad that Mana Acoustics are not in business, I just loved their story in the world of HiFi and audiophiles.
