Could you expand on this please? In what way did you ammend things with the insallation? Also how do you find the Mana compares to your Quadraspire, and specifically which Quadraspire rack is it? Thanks.
Itās the process of discussing and debating things. The forum is full of it. Itās inevitable there will be repetition. Thereās only so many things to say and discuss about hi-fi and you could pick almost anything discussed here on any thread and itās almost certainly been talked about before in some context or other. Itās the nature of the beast. Thereās no requirement to read anything here though. If you find something tedious then best just move on to something more interesting. Lifeās too short to waste time on stuff that doesnāt appeal.

Imho folks rarely change minds about their particular Hifi believes on forums. Pointless to argue but itās fun to every so often throw a 
in there as long as all stays friendly and jolly.

A forum where everyone has the same outlook and views, or will change their views at the drop of a hat to agree with others, may be convivial but would very quickly become boring and stagnant IMO. Everyone just patting each other on the back and congratulating each other. Itās through the different opinions and experiences of others, as well as our own, that we are able to grow and develop and hopefully make better choices for ourselves in the future. And not just in hi-fi. As you say, as long as it stays friendly and jolly. Thereās enough challenging things in life to contend with, no point in participating in something thatās unnecessary if it doesnāt bring pleasure.

In my opinion, my Quadraspire Sunoko Vent was beaten by both the Fraim and Fraim Lite. The Fraim is better than the Fraim Lite nine times out of ten.
First of all, the rack should be set up so that the load is evenly distributed across all four spikes. This can be checked by lifting/balancing the lowest cross brace at its centre with your finger and seeing if one of the spikes lifts first, then adjusting the spikes accordingly.
After that, the spikes supporting the glass shelves should be adjusted so that the glass āsingsā when you tap it.

This is a lively thread! Possibly coincidence that it started a hour after I posted the photo, ( below), on the TT thread five days ago.
I have not used my Mana frame for a few years but put it back under my TT about 10 days ago. I listened for about a week, took it out for a couple of days, and then put it back. I think I have a reasonable handle on what it is doing.
It is technically, and in HiFi terms better. More separation, more space, more open, tighter, cleaner, more low level detail, more texture. Not night and day but noticeable. The only downside is brighter, leaner recordings can sound a bit āless calmā.
I have a different cart and a tweak that added more bass to my system from when I last used the Mana. It doesnāt look great but it is staying.

I wonder what happened to the thread I created yesterday to continue off topic discussions should they start to divert a thread too much? Was there some bad behaviour after i last looked in yesterday evening? I donāt think the thread itself was controversial, and there had only been some polite conversation and a bit of humour last time I looked.

It seemed quite unnecessary. If members wish to discuss another topic they can just start a new one in the appropriate room.

It might be worth trying that without the lower piece of glass in place, maybe use some Naim chips between your stand and the Mana base or possibly some coins if you donāt have chips? I would imagine that glass>Mana>Glass would sound a bit frantic. Wood stand>Mana>Glass might sound a bit more organic?

I might be wrong, but that looks like an Ash Designs Cosmic rack, and that has the top piece of glass sitting on 4 rubber bumpers, two on the wooden cross-bar at the front, and two on the steel cross-members of the frame. The position of the cross-members wouldnāt match up with the location of the Mana spikes, I think.
