Materials to repair SBL

I am performing some DIY repair work on my 1981 MK1 SBL speaker.

I find myself with insufficient red and black copper wire (18AWG ??) in my tweeter cabinet now to re-attach to my replacement tweeter.

Any clues what the red / black cable is? For 5 bonus points: where I can find myself 0.5M? It doesn’t look like anything particularly special, but then this is esoteric Naim We are talking about…

Will 79-strand oxygen free copper speaker cable do the job?

IIRC Naim used RS 56 strand cable within the cabinets - available to buy from RS Components.

That’s in the solder.

It’s well up to the job and very flexible, so ideal for use inside the cabinet.

On the topic of solder, I am sure I have read that the silver stuff is akin snake-oil and creates if anything and inferior bond. Trusting therefor the pixie dust inside std lead free solder

Naim used Multicore Crystal 505 solder - I would use the same.
