Hi folks
Hope all is well. Sorry I have not posted for a while but had family issues with a parent not being well.
Upon my return I have come across conflicting regarding fitting an mc phono boards to a Naim nait 3 amplifier. Someone once told you can not I have checked on a website that says yes. Is this correct and also what is the MU Sheilding
Regards
Anthony
Yes, you can fit MC phono boards (like the NA 523-K) into a Naim NAIT 3
, but it requires cutting link wires on the mainboard to convert RCA inputs from line-level to phono and is often recommended with an added mu-metal shielding kit due to the internal transformer causing potential noise issues with sensitive MC cartridges, as noted in Naim Audio community discussions.
