MinimServer adds "Recently Added" category

MinimServer users, current or potential, might be interested in a recent change to MinimServer 2, which now supports viewing Recently Added and Recently Played albums and tracks. To me, the absence of this facility was the major weakness of MS. Actually the new version goes one better than just listing recently added/played albums in that it can display recently added/played items by category, say within a particular genre or by a particular artist.

I’ve not yet had a chance to install and play with the latest version, but happy to report back when I do.

Seems to work well!

I still use the original version as I am concerned that the new version may have a different/worse sound than the original, just as the original was better than Synology’s own server.
