Mogami from my turntable

I have a 1983(ish) LP12. I had some work done to it a couple of years ago with new bearing and sub-chassis but couldn’t stretch at the time to a new T-Kable.

I think the current T-Kable might be an original. Given the availability of Mogami would someone like designacable make up a Linn specific T-Kable with the right connector for the arm? Anyone have experience of doing this? The Linn T-Kable seems seriously overpriced to me.

As anything else Linn.

I believe other brands use Studio cables, such as Rega Couple 1 were a Klotz cable.

I think much of the cost is the engineered plug to match the bottom of the arm pillar also being machined to locate and tighten in situ.
The RCA plugs used are very good quality not to mention the difficulty in getting such robust cables to fit the finely engineered arm plug.
I’m very happy to use the same cable for my interconnects too. :+1:

Hi @Skeptikal

Did you pay much attention to the connection type (I see they have neutrik, wbt and about 8 others)

Best

Hi
On my armlead it’s Linn RCA connectors and
The interconnect cables are fitted with the Neutrik Rean NYS373 RCA connectors.
All good and very robust no gimmicks. :+1:
