Most critically acclaimed albums of 2019

Any Decent Music compiles rankings from websites, newspapers and magazines. It awards 50 points to each source’s No. 1 album, 49 to the No.2 and so on. Its sources as of today are Q, Pitchfork, Slant, Consequence of Sound, Pop Matters, Loud And Quiet, Crack, Uncut, The Skinny, Rolling Stone, The Quietus, Paste and Mojo.

I have 7 and one of them Nick Cave I don’t like much.

I’m obviously out of step. My favourite album this year is The Twilight Sad’s latest masterpiece, which hasn’t featured on any of these lists.
