The latest Keis gear is excellent , I looked at their new Ultraflex jacket a few weeks ago and it was extremely comfortable and a close call next to the W&S . I was surprised to find the controller was essentially unchanged from my 10 year old one which is a shame in this day and age . Keis would be onto a winner imo if they upgraded the controller .
I find the same problem with heated grips and gore tex . I’m never sure if they are slightly leaking or just not breathing adequately . Over Xmas I kept them on medium alongside the jacket and they were fine but it was mostly dry .
I haven’t considered buying heated gloves but if I did I think I’d choose some of the heated inner gloves that are similar to silk gloves to go inside my existing Held gloves . The Keis and W&S pictured below .
All armed up and ready to give my bike a good clean after all of the snow we’ve just had here in the UK. Riding in the snow really teaches one another side of biking! It’s when you get off the bike, after a long commute run home, that it really hurts (the cold that is), especially after departing from that heated seat & those heated grips!
