I’ve did a quick search, but was unable to find an answer … I’m very happy with my mu-so Qb2 which has a wireless connection to my router.
Within a couple of months, we’re about to move to a new house and the rest of the family thinks this is a good time to switch to another internet provider.
In that case: how do I connect the Qb2 to a new router? It might sound stupid, but I haven’t got a clue … does it need a fresh setup with looking up all prests? Hope not …
Just checked on it, and I guess once you use the qb2 with the new WiFi, you should press shortly the pinhole next to the led, which should flash than and offer a new setup possibility. There is some description of this in the manual.
What worked for me was a few factory resets and about fifteen attempts at setting up the QB2 as a new device. The process failed at various different points through the process, and the little error warning light lit up in a number of different colours, including a funny greenish yellow that wasn’t even listed in the manual, but persistence eventually paid off and it has worked fine over WiFi ever since.
Do what Robert suggests. Give your new wifi exactly the same name and exactly the same password and everything will just connect. We did it recently when we changed broadband provider and everything was a doddle.
I did exchange the router a year ago, and it actually worked without any major problem to change the WiFi setting, but I can’t remember, whether I even had to press the button, or whether it came up automatically through the app. Anyway, I used a new ID to not mix up the two.
