@Davidr - your experience seems more of Roon issue, which I believe they have been trying to fix for some time. Apologies if I have misunderstood.
My solution is to choose music using Roon then use the Naim app to control multiroom.

HI there, I am not sure I agree with you as RAAT works perfectly with Naim FW 4.3.1 but not with the new update, so I believe that would indicate that the update introduced a bug to a previously stable system.
I believe that using the Naim multiroom uses Airplay which downsamples the resolution of the stream so one cannot listen to HiRes files. I understand that this can be done within the Roon app as well, so not needing to go back and forth between apps. However I bought my new kit for RAAT. Thanks for the response
Interesting - I would agree that since the FW update multiroom is out of sync using Roon. I will leave to those with a better understanding of software to explain why and where the problem lies.
As to SQ I can’t detect a difference but that is probably due my failing hearing rather than my systems. Hope you find a solution you can share.
Fully confirm findings: MuSo’s using RAAT go out-of-sync since last FW, before not. Using Airplay no issue, but is lower quality. It’s an issue with Roon-readiness of the Naim MuSo’s.
Same story for me: my MuSo 2 using RAAT go out-of-sync since last FW, before not.
Note that my other Muso Qb2 stay perfectly sync !
I have not received a response from Naim, not even a ticket. Has anyone received a response about this?
You should have automatically received a ticket response. Have you checked your junk mail folder?
Apologies. Yes in the junk folder.
I have yes, but they say it’s Roon, not Naim. Will reply with links to this topic and topic in Roon community, would hope they stop ignoring.

Sure, I did per email to Naim colleague so he can see there are more people having issues.
2 questions:
I asked Naim about rolling back and was told it was not possible, for both technical and contractural / legal reasons
That seems strange as Apple can do it. Also you can buy a Muso now with the old firmware on it so how can it be contractual? I have heard nothing from Naim except the auto response. I think it is very disappointing. They are probably waiting to see how many complaints they get to judge if they should bother about it.
Last I heard they were very busy still with the iRadio support. What’s your ticket number? I’ll email somebody directly and enquire.
Thank you Richard . 234097 I emailed them the following day when I worked out that it was the FW. I am probably unique in having a set of 3 Musos two with 4.3.1 and one 4.4.1 so easy to identify the problem
Your colleagues have now been in touch with me and I have given them detailed descriptions as they requested.
I did some additional tests which have made me even more certain that it is the FW 4.4.1. I swapped locations between musos and FE to WiFi and the problem was always only with the muso with the 4.4.1 software.
Hopefully there will be a patch for this soon
Thank you for your help
In case anyone is wondering how this is progressing; I am waiting for Naim and will update on here as soon as I have an answer. The behaviour of the Muso with the latest FW continues to be the only problem. The other two with the previous FW are perfectly in sync.
The Muso in question is 11 months old. Does anyone know if I can give it back to the dealer as faulty ? After all it does not work as advertised.
