Quick q - is there a way to stream the same content (via UPnP) across two gen 1 streamers? Specifically, a NAC172 and UQ2. Thanks in advance!
Yes multiroom will work providing you aren’t trying to stream high res.
I may be extremely dense here, but is there something that needs to be activated on the units? I’ve looked in the app and don’t see any option to play on both
You set something playing on one of them, then go to the Now Playing screen in the app and in the bottom right there is an icon of four squares arranged in a square. Tap on that and you should see your other streamer listed as available for multiroom. Tap on that and it’s all obvious from there.
Note that you can only multiroom digital sources and not hi resolution with these old units.
