Yesterday the volume control light on my Muso 2 has decided to stay illuminated which is annoying as it sits directly beneath my TV screen. Any suggestions?
Unplug it from the mains. Wait a few minutes. Plug it in again.
Will give it a try, it’s only when HDMI input is selected!
My Muso has done some weird things with HDMI including having it disappear from the app (although it still worked - indeed, on start-up HDMI would be the source). It took a couple of resets before all was right again.
(In the troubleshooting phase my Muso also lost the ability to connect by Ethernet, but that came back as well.)
Mine misbehaves itself every so often. I tend to re-address the settings in the app, then pull the mains plug for 5 minutes.
I use mine only as a sound bar for my TV, a role it is not very good at. Lesson learned, next time I will buy a sound bar rather than something from Naim that looks like it could do the job.
Plus, the Muso 2 doesn’t always do what the app tells it to, like being found on the app. Its NDX2 cousin is far better behaved on all fronts.
