I have recently updated our MuSo 1 & 3 MuSo Qb1s with the latest firmware version 2.1.10.
Now only 1 of the Qb1s can be seen by the app and the others will not connect to either the home WiFi or wired network despite unplugging and resetting many times. All were working fine attached by network cables previously. Has anyone else suffered this problem?
Our QB1, which is used wirelessly updated fine and without presenting connection issues. Sorry that’s not very helpful.
I presume your rebooting/resetting included switching off the router. If not, perhaps try that. If you’ve tried that already, it may be time to contact Naim for advice.
It’s weird how one of the four is working fine, but the others are not.
I am beginning to wonder if the download/ update process didn’t fully complete on the three that refuse to behave nicely. We only get between 1 & 3 Mbps at best from BT where we live. I wonder if that is where the fault lies.
I will try rebooting all wireless access points on all floors when I can summon up the will.
Hard wire each Muso individually, for the purpose of update. Then perform a factory reset - doing so only after restarting your router. Remember to close and restart your control point, which if iOS should be on updated version 7.3
Perhaps worth running the update again on one of the recalcitrant QBs?
Networks can often appear somewhat temperamental. I bought a new QB2 before Xmas and when we first used it, it sometimes refused to appear in the App, unlike our old QB2 which always showed up. It seems to have settled down now and behaves fine. Makes you wonder why, though.
My old Mu-so is now working fine, but I did need to do the update a few times and did a reset and ran through the set up again before it all worked smoothly with the app.
