Muso Gen 1 Apple Music for Android and paid for AirMusic App 🙂

Hi Folks,

John W here. Sorry for long absence.I have been busy moving to Bristol to a wonderful new nursing home, with no ethernet, great WiFi and the best of care!:slightly_smiling_face::blush:.

After much struggle with the Naim app and Spotify; I decided to install Apple Music for Android on my Pixel 6 Standard Model phone and after testing, it the full version of AirMusic.

I have been blown away with the results! :slightly_smiling_face: Listening to Apple Music on cd lossless setting for 8hrs a day over over the last 10 days via AirMusic, the sound quality has been superb and my old Muso has not lost connection or dropped out once; which use to happen a lot with Spotify. AirMusic will also connect to my BorrowBox library app and play their audio book to a nice quality. Still use Naim app for radio. I don’t know if I have just been lucky? I am certainly happy to get great, reliable sound, with the minimum of fuss.

Great to hear that your Muso is delivering the goods. Perhaps you are indeed lucky in that WiFi isn’t the 1st gen Muso’s strongest point, but WiFi has improved a lot in recent years and I think this has benefitted people using some older Naim devices which were unreliable in their day.
