Muso QB V1 Radio Alarm Function Error

Hi.
Since we put the clocks foward by one hour the inbuilt radio alarm function in my QB goes off one hour late.
I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled on my mobile phone.
The actual time on the settings page for the radio alarm is correct, it matches the BST on my moblie phone.
I have unplugged the QB from the mains and plugged it in again one hour later.
Despite doing all of the above it still switches on one hour late.
As anybody else experienced this with the change to BST? If so how did you solve it?
Thank you.
Roger.

I have a similar but not identical issue with my original QB.

The time displayed on the app hasn’t adjusted for BST, and the app offers no way to compensate for this.

Consequently, like yours, my alarm also goes off an hour late, for this slightly different but I presume not unrelated issue.

Am I correct in thinking your QB always compensated correctly for BST prior to installing the update to fix the radio issue?

Hi @motelblues.

Yes, that is correct I have had no issues with the change to BST and back to GMT all the years I have owned it.
But following the latest firmware update the alarm clock now goes off a hour late following the change to BST.
The Naim app shows the same time as the time on my phone, so the app has adjusted for BST.
I guess the app is not telling the QB about the change to BST following the fmw update.

The Qb doesn’t get the time from the app. It gets it from an internet time server and that should happen automatically when it connects to the internet.

But I don’t know any fix for the problem, so may be worth contacting Naim support.

Hi @davidhendon

Thank you for the update.
I have emailed Naim support.
