I updated my Muso QB2 to the latest version yesterday and since have been unable to access Tidal. It asks me to sign in to Tidal, which I do, and follow the instruction to close the Tidal log in page. However, when I click on the Tidal button in the Naim app, it just goes back to the log in page. I seem to be stuck in this loop. Am using Samsung Galaxy Tab 9 to control the streamer.
All working fine here with a Qb2 and Tidal on a Samsung S24 phone. Have you tried an uninstall then reinstall of the Naim app? Does it work with Tidal Connect?
I can play through the Muso using Tidal Connect.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled the Focal and Naim appmon two different Android devices with no effect. I successfully log into Tidal. Close the window that appears and when I click on the Tidal button in the app, it just reopens the login window.
Yeah I’m having this same problem. Posted here:
Any luck? I contacted support but no word yet.
No solution yet. They are suggesting that the problem is with my tablet, however have tried this on 3 different Android devices and still the Tidal button in the Naim app takes me to the Tidal login.
The only change in my system was a Naim firmware update applied last Friday. The problem only arose after that. The Naim people say the app is OK, but I have asked them to consider if the issues lies with the firmware update. I have tried accessing Tidal through the Naim app using 3 different devices and have the same problem with all of them. I can play Tidal though my QB2 using Tidal Connect and through a Chord Hugo2/2GO using the Bubble upnp app.
Just got it sorted myself. It looks as if there was something in a Firefox upgrade that was interfering. I uninstalled Firefox and replaced it with Opera and the Naim app worked properly
And yes, worked for me also. Used Google Chrome and it worked, thanks. I was contemplating next steps, which would have been to change Tidal password, and god forbid, reset the app. Glad this easy fix did the trick.
For future reference, select different default browser other than Firefox.
BTW, after I had got everything working and stable, I reinstalled Firefox on one of my devices and found that everything continued to work through the Naim app.
