I have a SuperNait from days of yore. Have had problems for a number of years getting it to work and finally trying it again. I have the optical digital out to the SuperNait (no pre amp or anything else, just a TV input and Linn speakers). I plugged the optical in to dv4 which is where the AV buttons are supposedly linked. I turned on amp and hit prog on the provided remote, the volume LED started blinking and then hit AV Top and Bottom. Once I exit Prog, the top and bottom mute buttons remain resolutely on whatever i do. Faint popping sounds from speaker. Tried reset with prog and disp, to no avail.
Is this busted or am I doing all the wrong things?
