Hi I have a Naim NAC52 Pre-Amplifier and the volume control is breaking down I have to keep twisting it to get one of the speakers to work does anyone know of a fix for this or is it a replacement?

The short term solution might be to try some switch cleaner spread on the pot, although the ALPS Blue is well sealed up so it’s hard to get it to penetrate.
The better solution by far would be to have the pot replaced. Depending on the age of your 52 it might even make sense to upgrade to the POTS8 board which gives improved performance. Talk to your dealer who can arrange this with Naim’s service dept. or else speak to Darran at Class A servicing.
