I have a 552 on loan. My 252 has had moments of hardness on bass and being dull (conditions for a service), but it is only 2 years old and Supercap 3. I wish a service could make it sound like a 552! The hardness went with a different plug order so 555PS then SC then 300 as DB has suggested. Most music has been a joy with the 252 but the 552 is faster with more power making it more exciting. Mine gets lots of use so maybe I am wearing out more quickly. Hope not!

I will be on my third ND555…very minor screen fault…but for the price needs to be perfect…
