Hi I’ve just recently bought the 222 and the 250 and the 300 the sound is very good I’m thinking of buying Chord inter connects Epic has anyone got the cables

I had Chord Epic XL (?), speaker cables which I found very enjoyable, later upgraded to Naim SuperLumina full loom.
Doesn’t look particularly good vfm at first, particularly the NC XLR interconnect, however, once heard, resistance is futile 
. Absolutely worth watching the s/h market for your requirements, becomes very attractive vfm-wise at that point.
In the meantime the Chords won’t disappoint if they fit your budget better.

If this is true, then I suggest you don’t jump to replace the supplied cables!
Give it more time + use, and you will very likely find it improves even more.

Complete agree! Should have added exactly this comment to my response, you’re absolutely right, the supplied interconnect is absolutely good enough, you really have to want to go better, albeit the NPX300 will push you in that direction.
Speaker cables on the other hand will be a choice sooner or later.

Plus 1 on this comment, sit back and enjoy the sound for a good few months and then decide if you need to upgrade the cables, I’m two years in and still using the Naim cables, the sound is wonderful.

I have the 332/333/NC250/NCVTT/NPS300. (2). I used the Naim interconnect cables for several months. They were fine. I then switched to Chord SarumT interconnect which I found to be much better. Had I not had the funds, I could have continued with the Naim supplied cables. My speaker cable was Chord Epic XL.

I switched to Vertere Redline Interconnects and Speaker cables last year and I’m really satisfied with them.
I’ve had various selections of Chord and TelluriumQ cables previously but now I’m settled.

I thought the cables included with the boxes would be fine. Maybe you confuse interconnect with loudspeaker cables ?
Did you switch interconnects and speaker cables at the same time?
What were the main gains? Separation, refinement, more extended highs and bass?
Agree to this - my NC250 became a lot better after three months of daily use. Different front end from the NSC222 though.
I have the SuperLumina speaker cables which gave a further step forward once introduced to the system.

As soon as I installed the Redlines everything just sounded right

Whatever you evaluate, try and do so with the matched IC and speaker cables.
I did an extended home evaluation of Chord Epic and Signature with both XLR IC and speaker cables in the chain.
I ran the full looms for a few weeks at a time then switched back to the supplied XLR and NAC-A5 for another few weeks.
I ended up with Super Lumina eventually, but from memory I prefered the Signature full loom of the Chord sets I evaluated.
There’s no universal right answer, but do at least evaluate at home, for at least a few weeks, and with same cable type of IC and speaker cable to give you a fair perspective.
I found it sounded off when mixed and matched, like the cables were working against each other in some respects and over emphasising elements in other ways.
I should add throughout the evaluation cycles I always used Naim Powerline mains cables, you could always add the Chord equivalents for added fun during evaluation.
