I am currently running a Naim Unitqute 2 as preamp for a pair of Belolab 6000 active speakers that I inherited from a good friend.
He was strongly encouraged to start off-loading some of the many hifi bits that have been accumulating in their lounge room! This replaces a pair of Epos ES14s and stands much to the approval of my own style council. Much easier to clean around!
The sound is much better than expected and I am wondering if anyone else has tried a similar Naim/ B and O mashup. The two companies seem to have come 2 different philosophies, but in my own context the 2 have an unexpected synergy.

Well, they certainly did, once. But NAIM appears to be moving in the (expensive) lifestyle direction, as B&O did many years ago.

I use a NAC-N172 as a streamer and source switcher into Beolab 8000 and Beocenter 2500 c. 1995 in the bedroom. The Beolabs are forgiving of being tucked into corners, making them ideal for my requirements for that room.
I have long said my Naim sources breathe new life into the B&O system.

When you think about it, the Naim Uniti series was move awa from the hair shirt approach to hifi. That’s speaking as a previous owner of NAC 12s/NAP110, Linn Kans and a Nait 2/EPOS ES14s.
Something really right about the Unitiqute 2 both in sound and convenience. I actually like the looks too!

That’s what I found when I added the Qute over other preamp options I tried such as a Proton 930 preamp section or a Nuforce DAC 80. Naim seems to give the Beolabs the kick they need.
I do like the BL8000s tho. Stunning looking speaker!
