Reset Network, Delete App, Etc, etc. A whole host of random actions from a checklist where if it works then nobody can say why. The point is that the software is unstable and has no resilience.
This is the first time I’ve seen persistent discovery issues. The more common problem is the one I mentioned earlier where management of the play queue is poor…wrong artwork, wrong track name, pause button suddenly doesn’t work…I could go on

I have a Freesat recorder and it states in the instructions that my recorder and the device with the app on it are on the same frequency
That may well be down to some technical limitation in your Freesat recorder. But I’m talking about Naim products and apps (although it’s also true of everything else that runs on my network on either WiFi frequency).
