I don’t know if I did turn something on.
But as of late starting the Naim app automatically starts my Star.
I have an iPad with version 17.5.1
Is this a change in the new Naim app?
Regards Piet

That’s the way it’s always worked for me both back when I had the atom and now with the nd5 xs2 I click on the image in the app and it wakes up.
Yes that’s what I always did, start the app and click on the star to wake it, but
now it awakes while starting the app!
Started doing the same with me. Ever since getting my ND5 XS2 it came out of standby when I touched the icon in the app (iOS).
Then, a few days ago, the unit switched on when I started the app.
Now it’s back to how it was.
Naim support said reboot everything, if that fails do a factory reset. I’ve done none of that so it must be firmware and/or app changes.
I get the same. Saves a button press. Not sure what I’ll do with all the saved time.
So I just checked and mine is doing it too. yesterday I woke it with Bluetooth rather than the app and honestly since there is a second delay it might have happened before without me noticing.
Ditto. I have a number of naim boxes attached to my network. For some reason when I open the app, my nova wakes up before I have had a chance to select it as my source of choice.
It doesn’t happen for me on Android. I’m glad too as I have multiple streamers and want to choose from the landing page
I don’t experience this on my iPhone, so only on the iPad!
iOS app works fine with Nova and other Naim streamers here.
Worth powering off all streamers, close all apps on control point, power off the control point, then power down the router. Wait ten minutes then re-power router, after same time, switch on streamers and finally control point.
Worth noting, for anyone with unusual actions, powering off completely, the control point whether tablet or phone, to clear memory et al. Deleting app should only be a last resort usually.
Well since I only have one streamer it’s not actually a problem and just saves me a second so I’ll just leave it to it.
