I have a tube pre amp into the analog input on the Atom streamer. I hear EMI or grounding noises between the devices. I’ve switched the grounding switch to floating. It seems the noise has lowered; but is still faintly present. Is there any other options to reduce the noise floor on the analog input? I also wonder if I should switch the ground switch back to default when I’m using digital inputs?
The ground switch only applies to the audio signal output ground, and either floats or earths the ground connection. (There should only ever be one and only one earthed ground audio input on a Naim NAC.
The digital inputs work differently and are anyway galvanically isolated. (DC decoupled)
