Does anyone know the exact size screw which holds the underside of the front panel in place and also the size of the earth screw which screws into the underside of the wrap over panel.
There are 5 very small screws on the front panel.

Perhaps @NeilS or @Richard.Dane can help, though it is a bank holiday in the UK.
I don’t know - one for Naim or @NeilS
Self-Tap Screw, Steel, Posi Panhead, B, Zinc, 4g x 5/16

Edit: I’m working on the earth screw - bit more of a challenge!
Self-Tap Screw, Steel, Posi Panhead, B, Black, 6g x 1/2
It’s the 6g one at the bottom of my post above.

Fantastic
Any idea where to source this exact size for both Neil.
I tried one place who said they only have the earth screw
All the screws need to be blunt ended.
I’m afraid not Lee - our supplier is long gone now!
You could cut/file/grind the points off?
Regards
Neil.
Have fun! The RS website has a guide to self tapping screws, but seems to omit the code for the “point”.
You might fare better if you can find a local fixture and fittings warehouse with a trade counter. It will mean buying 100, but I have found that cheaper than a bag of 10 in B&Q.
I think you might end up having to grind the point off. Not trying to teach grannie, take a strip of scrap metal, drill pilot holes, drive the screws in so that the length you want to remove is showing. Much easier than holding a screw in a pair of pliers…
They look like good metric equivalents.
I think that generated image may be cropped, so they may have points though.

Neil.
Would this be the correct size for the earth screw

That is above and beyond on a Sunday lunchtime!

That’s engineers for ya!
“It’s Sunday, I got a large coffee. I could contemplate mowing the lawn or look at screws…”
“Lawn or screws……..hmmmmm….OK, sod the lawn!”

As opposed to a riveting read…
Too many twists & turns for my liking.
I lost the thread a long time ago![]()
