Well, I’ve searched the forum and the net and just can’t get an answer.
I recently bought an early 1980’s Japan Denon/Supraphon CD (Martinu Field Mass - Mackerras) which I suspect has pre-emphasis.
Can anyone confirm whether or not my CD5 (original incarnation!) has CD de-emphasis ?

Worth a read, though not sure it confirms or denies if the CD5 recognises the flag (huge apologies if you found that link in your searching!)
