I own Naim CD 5i (non italic) player, which is designed to operate at 115V. So far, I used it with external transformer which negatively affects to sound quality. Whether is it possible to determine on the basis of the serial number of the unit - 212xxx, way of voltage conversion from 115 V to 220 V by transformer re-wiring or by a transformer replacement, plus fuse change and re-labelling. Well worth having it properly converted. Voltage step up (or down) transformers are no good for performance. Have a word with Naim support on Monday.
