Naim Core and Computer Cannot Find Each Other

This is my first post and I am seeking some help. I'm not a computer expert so please forgive anything obvious I may be missing. I'm using a Lenovo laptop, Windows 10.
My new Naim Uniti Core is plugged into my router. It can be controlled by the Naim app and I have successfully ripped and played a small number of CDs.
I purchased and downloaded two high resolution albums (wav format) and had hoped to simply copy from my laptop to the Core. Alas, not. I followed all the Core setup instructions on Naim's website and upon entering my Core's IP address, my computer could not find it. I have enabled the SMB settings as recommended but no success.
I am at a complete loss as what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No help I’m afraid but this may help others help you.

@davidhendon is the specialist here. Have you created a network share in your pc? When your core is associated in the network, then all you have to do is select the download and drag it through Ethernet to the core. ( select and send).

David, No I had not. I looked up how to do that, to share from my downloads folder and I am asked for a person’s name to share with. Would I instead enter Uniti Core with its model number?

I selected “Everyone” for network sharing. The problem is that my Core doesn’t even show up as a device on my network even though it’s connected to my router and can rip and stream music.

Try to restart your router, wait, then core, wait, then streamer. Maybe it can work after.

OK. Solved part of the problem. The Core now shows up on my network but nothing can be shared or imported from my laptop. My laptop drive and no folders DO NOT show up in the Naim app when I try various ways to Manage Music.

Sorry, can’t help more.

will help you when they can.

You can restart the app too. I sometimes have to do that, my server being lost.

Finally got my Core visible on my network with Downloads folder showing. Thanks all for your help. Much appreciated. Paul
