Naim Core backup question

I use a Naim Core which has an internal 4Tb SSD.
I want to back it up, but I don’t have a 4Tb USB drive.
I do however have an iMac on my network with an empty 4Tb Thunderbolt drive attached to it.
Is it possible to backup the Core through my iMac to this Thunderbolt drive?

You may not need 4TB, that’s the max capacity of your SSD, but if you only have 2TB or less of actual file space used of that, you can backup to 2TB.

If you have access to the Core drive via a file explorer program, you can back it up…
