Ah, NACA5 at under £6 per metre! Even with inflation, that would be only just over £10/metre today.

Damn those Copper prices - in 1999, it was still trading at less than 1USD per lb. Today, it’s around four times that, which is way more than inflation alone can account for.

My NAC A4 leads were £1 per metre, in 1982. I still have them - and have only recently substituted a set of NAC A5 leads (pre loved).

For a ‘should cost’, look at Linn K20 now.
