It was an expensive dac to buy new in 2018, especially with an external PSU.

Yes I guess itā€™s a mixture of all of the above, I believe it was around 2 to 2.5k? So yes quite expensive and those that do have them are likely to be hanging on to them as it really is quite special.

Dealer and naim gave us same advice - no service needed. We chose to service anyway as itā€™s better to be safe than sorry, especially considering the value of kit the nDAC is connected to! Caps replaced.

Our nDAC (and other new boxes) are now run in and sounding utterly fabulous. I think weā€™ve reached the point where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts :smiling_face:

So thankful we decided to take a punt on the nDAC.

my logo is going dim now, wonder how much it is for a checkover and logo change?

Had my logo changed in summer of 2019. Ā£94 at my friendly A****-T.

Took about a week to order and get the bits and 3-4 hours to change and soak test.
