Naim DAC sync light

I am currently testing a new Roon transport feeding into one of the coax inputs of my Naim DAC. With my current RPI endpoint the sync light of the Naim DAC goes out once the stream stops. With the new transport, for some reason the sync light of the DAC stays on after the stream stops. Is that something to worry about or not?

I guess it depends on the SPDIF implementation on the transport. If the SPDIF framing continues to be sent, the sync light will continue to be lit. If the sync framing entirely stops, or adjusts to a non supported frequency the sync light will go out.
Nothing to worry about.

Thanks @Simon-in-Suffolk
That makes sense. When I pull the power plug from the transport (there is no on/off switch) the sync light goes off.
