I need your advice.I consider buying a Naim Fraim. For the moment my NSC222 &NAP250 are on a tv stand between my Focal’s Kanta 2.There is only one position where I can put the Naim Fraim. But the Naim Fraim will be a bit between one speaker and my listening position. Will it have negative effects on the sound quality? Is it better that I don’t buy Naim Fraim and keep my hi-fi system in its actual configuration.I’m going to share you a drawing where the Naim Fraim would stand.Sorry for the quality of the drawing and my English too.
My racks have been between my left speaker and my listening position for years. Fraim previously, and now HRS.
That works really well. This particular photo shows my new HRS rack, but it was the same when I had a double Fraim rack. This does not have any negative impact on sound.
There can be negative effects of putting your HiFi between the speakers, so moving it to the side is probably a good move. However, it is largely the furniture, including shelves and the TV, that can cause acoustic problems. If you must have furniture between the speakers, try to ensure that the speakers are further forwards.
